Ajin Wang
Beijing-based contemporary surrealist painter
Yuna Hu is a contemporary surrealist artist whose work explores the intersections of feminine consciousness, metaphysics, and the structure of perception. Through crystalline architectures, luminous color, and dreamlike forms, she investigates how emotion and order coexist — and how women reclaim agency within systems of control.
A third-generation artist trained at Tsinghua University’s Academy of Fine Arts, Yuna continues a family legacy of artistic innovation spanning three generations of painters and educators. Her practice merges philosophical inquiry with refined technical precision, positioning her within a lineage of Chinese academic excellence while articulating a distinctly modern, feminist voice.
Yuna’s work has been exhibited internationally, including the Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong, the Study × PLAS Asia Art Fair in Osaka, and the China–Italy International Art Biennale (Rome Crystal Palace / Beijing Millennium Monument), as well as cultural programs in Paris and Beijing.
Her paintings are characterized by recurring motifs — flowers, crystal forms, and flowing tubular structures — symbols that represent vitality, cognition, and the metaphysical energy of life. Across each canvas, Hu transforms surrealism into a poetic field of philosophical reflection and resistance.

Born in 1995 in Linxi, Hebei. Dharma name: Mingda. Also known as: Lay Buddhist Suixin, Master of Hongyuan Jingshe (Hongyuan Pure Abode). He studied and copied famous paintings from various dynasties, later learning from masters of Gongbi (meticulous-style) painting such as Wu Guangyu, Xu Yansu, and Wang Shuhui, which greatly inspired and elevated his calligraphy and painting.
He took refuge under the venerable Elder Jinghui at the age of 18, receiving the Dharma name Mingda. He dedicates himself wholeheartedly to Buddhist painting art. While emphasizing the rules and rituals (of iconometry), he further integrates his body and mind into the reverence for the saints' perfect virtues.
