Artist Submission FAQs

 Yes, current students and recent graduates are considered "emerging artists" and are welcome to apply. 

 No, there is no application fee to submit your work for consideration. 

 We aim to review all submissions within [e.g., 1-2 weeks] after the application deadline. Only shortlisted artists will be contacted. 

 Please send a well-organized email with your name in the subject line (e.g., "Open Call Submission - [Your Name]"). Include your portfolio (as a website link or attached images), your artist statement and bio ( preferably as a PDF), and your note of interest directly in the email body.

  Yes, artists from anywhere may apply. 

No, we do not offer artist residencies, stipends, or funding as part of this open call. This is an opportunity for exhibition, sales, and professional representation. 

  We are specifically seeking artists working in traditional 2D mediums, including painting (e.g., oil, acrylic, watercolor) and drawing (e.g., graphite, charcoal, ink, mixed media on paper or canvas). We are not reviewing sculpture, photography, digital art, or installation-based work for this opportunity 

 Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in a solo or group show at our Pasadena gallery. Furthermore, through our partnership with the Shanghai Suning Museum, your work will be considered for future international exhibition projects in Shanghai, providing significant global exposure. You will also be introduced to our network of collectors, curators, and art professionals.
